National Resources in Disaster

Pet Safe Coalition has signed an agreement with Noah’s Wish, Inc., the national disaster rescue and relief organization, for the provision of resources, supplies and manpower in the event of a major disaster.

The April 2009 disaster response training in Old Bethpage will be followed in October 2009 by a one-day session. This is the first year Nassau County has hosted animal disaster response training.
