Pet Safe works to reduce the loss of human and animal life during disasters. We help families develop evacuation plans for themselves and their pets and, if plans fall through, we provide temporary sheltering in emergencies. With the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association and others, we coordinate mutual aid at animal shelters and humane organizations that have agreed to cooperate.
